An exhibition hall that showcases the family traditions and upbringing of Zhang Jian, a famous industrialist and scholar who lived during the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), opened in July in Gangzha district, Nantong, Jiangsu province. It has attracted about 8,000 visitors since its opening.

A large stone with family teachings written on it sits at the entrance of the exhibition hall, as Zhang would often write down quotes from ancient wise men and advice for his son when he was 69 years old. An elderly visitor praised the exhibition hall, calling it a "classroom for family education".

The exhibition hall consists of three pavilions focusing on the Zhang family's traditions, stories about the family, and literature written by Zhang. The pavilions showcase both photos and videos.

"Zhang's family traditions, which have roots in Confucianism, were a significant part of traditional Chinese culture and are worth learning due to the profound influence they still have today," said a visitor surnamed Zhang.

There is also a message wall at the exhibition where visitors can write down their feelings and goals and place them on the wall. A South Korean person even wrote down some words of respect for Zhang.
