Updated: 2019-10-15

The unveiling ceremony for the Lyusi Port Service Center was held in Xianyu town in Qidong, Nantong, a city in Jiangsu province, on Oct 10.

Employees from various departments have been dispatched to the service center to deal with affairs related to the fishing port, including law enforcement, dispute coordination, maintaining production order, granting fishing permits, registering and inspecting ships, and granting certificates for seafarers.

Qidong hopes that the service center can provide one-stop services for fishermen and ensure the port's security and smooth operation.

Lyusi port is the largest and most comprehensive integrated fishing port in China and has a very practical layout. It can accommodate a total of 2,300 ships at once and it has an annual output as high as 300,000 tons.
