A total of 472 fine art works by university students and teachers are currently being exhibited at Nantong University in Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province.

The exhibits cover a wind range -- including oil paintings, traditional Chinese paintings, prints, sculptures, lacquer paintings, watercolor paintings and gouache paintings. They were selected from about 3,200 entries from more than 100 universities and colleges.

The activity is part of an exhibition tour in the province, which has been hosted by the provincial education department every two years since 2013.

The exhibition runs until Oct 13 and will later be held in Yangzhou and Lianyungang.
