Colorful Yueju Opera staged in Nantong

A Yueju Opera piece A Dream of the Red Mansions, an adaptation of the Chinese literary classic of the same name written by Cao Xueqin in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), is staged at the Gengsu Theater in Nantong, in eastern Jiangsu province, on July 9. Yueju masters -- including Fang Yafen, Yu Jinglan, Wang Qing and Guo Qianyun, from the Shanghai Yue Opera House -- starred the performance. [Photo/IC]
