An industrial cooperation meeting was held in the Shibei High-Tech Park in Gangzha district, Nantong city, on May 18. 

Hosted by the Gangzha district government and Shanghai Shibei High-Tech Group, the meeting was meant to showcase the park and district's development achievements, promote the district's investment and business environment, raise Nantong's profile among companies in the Yangtze River Delta region, and advance regional economic growth. 

Over the past decade, Shibei High-Tech Park, a demonstration project for the regional integration of the Yangtze River Delta, has built infrastructure and developed a comprehensive ecosystem to attract a large number of industrial projects and companies involved in electronic information, intelligent equipment, and big data. It has received support from the Shanghai and Nantong governments, according to Huang Weifeng, Party chief of Gangzha district. 

Huang expressed hope that Nantong and Shanghai would strengthen cooperation in more areas and Gangzha district would offer improved services and a more suitable environment to companies in the district. 

Gangzha district plans to take full advantage of the Shibei High-Tech Park, carry out industrial transfers from Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region, focus on introducing electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, service outsourcing, R&D, design, and high-end business industries, and build a coordinated modern industrial system.
