Updated: 2019-02-14

A batch of marine cranes manufactured by Jiangsu Masada Heavy Industries Co based in Gangzha district, Nantong city, was completed on Feb 11 where they are set to be tested and approved for export to Japan.

Founded in December 2010, Jiangsu Masada Heavy Industries Co mainly produces and sells marine supporting equipment and parts, such as marine anchors, reamers, cranes, and steering gears.

It has collaborated with Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group on constructing a 1.2-billion-yuan (177.7 million) marine supporting equipment industrial park covering over 193,000 square meters in Gangzha district. Once put into production, the park will be a major marine supporting equipment manufacturing base in China with an annual output reaching 5,000 sets.

The company has had orders of 303 marine cranes since the beginning of 2019 with the monthly output being 25. Its taxable sales revenue amounted to 73.09 million yuan in January, marking a good start to its business this year.
