Zhao Dacheng

Vice Minister of Justice Zhao Dacheng 

Born in Hebei province in February 1960, Zhao Dacheng entered the workforce and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in 1984. He graduated from the Law Department of China University of Political Science and Law and was an in-service graduate of the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC. Zhao is currently vice minister and member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) since April 2006.

During 1984-2006, Zhao has held successive posts in the Ministry of Justice, including Cadre, Principal Staff Member and Deputy Director General of the General Office; Deputy Director of the minister’s office; Director of the minister’s office; Secretary of the Leading Party Group of the Ministry of Justice of the CPC (concurrent post); Deputy Director of the General Office; Deputy Director-General of the Legal Popularization Department; Director of the General Office; Secretary of Party committe (concurrent post); and, Director General of the Lawyers and Notaries Department. 

He took temporary posts in Xushui county of Hebei province and Zhaoqing of Guangdong province as the Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee.
