A new equipment manufacturing industrial park – called the Source of Power industrial park – was listed as a new characteristic industrial park in East China's Shanghai, according to the Shanghai Global Investment Promotion Conference 2022 held in the city on June 16.

With a planning area of 8 square kilometers, the Source of Power industrial park – currently under construction – is situated in the cutting-edge industrial zone of the Lin-gang Special Area, located in Shanghai.

Relying on its great location advantages, the opening-up policies and the major expansion of high-end equipment industry development in Lin-gang, the park will focus on R&D and the industrialization of the sector in the country – developing its own high value-added services.

Plans are for the park to promote innovation, establish a complete industry supply chain and introduce advanced functions and business forms.
