The Royal Institute of British Architects – or RIBA – and Shanghai Lin-gang Special Area Economic Development Co Ltd held a signing ceremony for online strategic business cooperation on May 19.

In order to promote more professional talent from home and abroad to show their abilities and make full use of them in the Lin-gang Special Area – located in East China's Shanghai city – the two will focus on the field of international vocational qualifications education.

They will give full play to their professional capabilities and resource advantages to promote talent recruitment, training, cultural shaping and urban construction.

The two will build an intermediate talent center, where top international construction people can receive training, qualifications and service in Lin-gang.

In addition, RIBA will move to create an exclusive Lin-gang architectural cultural atmosphere – through a series of activities such as exhibitions, forums, academic seminars and design workshops.
