Shanghai Harbour City Development (Group) Co Ltd, based in the Lin-gang Special Area – located in East China's Shanghai – on April 6 completed the construction there of a pop-up lab for a medical team from Southwest China's Yunnan province, which came to the city to help its fight against COVID-19.

The laboratory was built within 20 hours and it's estimated that it can complete more than 1 million nucleic acid tests every day.

The laboratory is located in the L+ Snow Supreme Hotel in Lin-gang, which opened last November. The site has an office and areas for resting, dining and dressing, as well as the nucleic acid testing station.

Plans are for Shanghai Harbour City Group to continue to provide the medical team with accommodation, transportation, catering, nucleic acid testing and other logistics services – as well as laboratory security, cleaning and other operational services.
