Far East Holding Group Co Ltd, one of the Top 500 companies in China, recently established a supply chain subsidiary – Far East Chengfei (Shanghai) Supply Chain Management Co Ltd – in the Lin-gang Special Area, Shanghai.

Parent company Far East Holding is a major commercial endeavor, based in the county-level city of Yixing, administered by the prefecture-level city of Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province.

Currently employing almost 10,000 people, according to its corporate website by 2025, it aims to achieve an annual operating income of 120 billion yuan ($18.94 billion) and annual net profit of over 6.3 billion yuan.

It is expected that with the advantages of having offshore trading businesses in Lin-gang, Far East Chengfei will become a main cross-border supply chain procurement and sales platform of the group.

With the arrival of the company, it is anticipated that its presence will create a new driver for new  international trade locally – further accelerating the trend towards the agglomeration of the bulk commodity industry in Lin-gang.
