The LGIMIC Offshore Incubator Base has recently been recognized as a talent innovation and entrepreneurship base in East China's Shanghai city.

Its operator is Shanghai Lingang Innovation Center Co Ltd, or LGIMIC, founded in 2009 as a science and technology park company.

It was established that year under the direction of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission and is dedicated to the incubation and cultivation of enterprises in the Lin-gang Special Area, located in Shanghai city in East China.

It is a State-level technology business incubator with intelligent manufacturing as its main areas of endeavor.

Equipped with complete infrastructure and an attractive environment for innovation and entrepreneurship, the center has attracted a number of domestic and international businesses in integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing and in other industries.

It is also the Smart Manufacturing Sub-Center of the Eastern National Technology Transfer Center.

Through the platform – as well as its global cross-border technology exchange center and its offshore incubator – the center is developing a transformation system for the technological achievements made in the Yangtze River Delta region.

It also facilitates interactions between technology and industry in smart manufacturing, integrated circuits and in other fields in Shanghai – as well as in several prefecture-level cities in East China's Zhejiang and Jiangsu provinces.
