The Lin-gang Special Area – located in East China's Shanghai city – held a news conference on Jan 20 which outlined its main goals to build a social, legal and international business ecosystem in 2022.

Under the blueprint, the Lin-gang Special Area Administration aims to upgrade its management services during the enterprise life cycles of its resident companies – including improving their project management, inclusive financial services and offering them innovation and entrepreneurial support.

Lin-gang is increasingly going digital in its efforts to build an administration that is based on the rule of law and the most efficient services available.

It is understood that the area will strengthen its intellectual property creations, applications, management and protection services.

It also plans to establish leading mediation organizations and arbitration institutions around the world.

What's more, Lin-gang will carry out corporate compliance management, helping to guide enterprises in the field to establish compliance mechanisms.

The administration's performance in 2021 in upgrading its business environment and in government work based on the rule of law was unveiled at the conference.
