The Lin-gang Data Security Industry Alliance was established in the Lin-gang Special Area in East China's Shanghai city on Oct 21, to reportedly promote the development of the digital security sector in the area.

The alliance was initiated by DAS-Security, a network information security products and services provider based in Hangzhou, capital city of East China's Zhejiang province.

In the wake of Lin-gang's construction of an international digital demonstration zone, the alliance aims to further promote the development of the Shanghai digital security industry ecosystem by integrating it with the digital technology industry ecosystem.

Sixteen bodies and companies – including Cyber Research Institute, LinkSure and Kanxue Technology Co – have become alliance council members, while 23 have become alliance members, including the Cloud Security Alliance and SenseTime.
