The launch ceremony for an important cross-border center was held on Sept 28 in the Lin-gang Special Area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone – located in the city of Shanghai in East China.

The launch of the Bank of Communications (Shanghai) Cross-border Syndication Center, to be located in Lin-gang, is expected to be of great importance to the area's future innovation development.

The facility will reportedly not only broaden financing channels for resident companies and business operations in Lin-gang, but is also expected to promote the overall financial environment of the area.

The Bank of Communications Shanghai Branch also signed contracts at the launch ceremony with a number of key cross-border syndicated enterprises.
