A regional assessment report on soil and water conservation for the expansion area of the Lingang Fengxian Industrial Park was recently approved by the city of Shanghai in East China.

The expansion area is located in the Haiwan town of Shanghai's Fengxian district and it was the first report to be approved in the city.

After the approval, individual production and construction projects in the park's expansion area no longer need to compile and report on their soil and water conservation plans.

The monitoring will be subsequently carried out by the environmental center of the Lin-gang Special Area, reducing administrative costs.
