Shanghai HeartCare Medical Technology Corporation Limited – registered in the Lin-gang Special Area in East China's Shanghai city – debuted on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Aug 20.

It was reportedly the first newly listed enterprise from the biomedicines sector in the Lin-gang Special Area since the area's establishment.

Established in 2016, the company is one of the domestic nerve intervention corporate champions. It focuses on stroke prevention and treatment, through minimally invasive interventional technology development and industrialization.

Its products cover a complete product line of five categories: thrombolysis therapy for ischemic strokes, stenosis therapy for ischemic strokes, treatment for hemorrhagic strokes, cardiogenic stroke prevention and vascular access products.

The HeartCare headquarters and industrialization base and production facility settled in the Lingang Life Science & Tech Park. It has seven approved products and 16 are in development, reportedly covering a complete set of solutions for stroke interventions and prevention.
