Lingang Industrial Area sustains dynamic character
The Lingang Industrial Area in Shanghai covers some 37.64 square kilometers and is bound by the Nanlu Highway to the east, Dadi Road to the south, Nanfengjie River in the west and Nicheng Road in the north.
It offers the opportunity of connecting China with the rest of world – by combining the different transport modes of air, sea, rail, expressways and rivers.
After more than a decade of development, it has become a national demonstration base for equipment manufacturing.
It is now picking up the pace to become a main scientific and technological innovation center with global influence, with operations located in the start-up area of the Lin-gang Special Area in the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
The Lingang Industrial Area has consistently followed national strategies, showcasing Shanghai's advantages and demonstrating its international competitiveness.
It is one of the industrial parks in China with the greatest density of high-end equipment industries. These have core industrial manufacture bases for, among other things, new energy equipment, key ship components, ocean engineering, automobile and auto parts.
