The Shanghai securities regulatory bureau in the China Securities Regulatory Commission's representative office in Shanghai, set up a branch on May 7 in the Lin-gang Special Area – located in East China's Shanghai city – to offer a range of services there.

The branch will offer specialized organization, research, coordination and development consultations on capital market supervision and services in the Lin-gang Special Area.

It aims to boost links with the Lin-gang Administration, as well as provide supervision and services for securities and futures.

The Shanghai securities regulatory bureau is also moving to continue to improve its systems and mechanisms, to attain higher working efficiency and will offer support services to Lin-gang through the head office.

The first working meeting was held recently to discuss issues such as corporate development and stock market listings. Other subjects were industrial innovation and progression and the general improvement of standards in business.
