The Lin-gang Special Area in Shanghai on April 9 held a photo contest to celebrate the coming centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the second anniversary of the establishment of Lin-gang.

The Lin-gang Special Area, which is located on the coast of the East China Sea, is the functional hub for the coordinated development of the Yangtze River Delta region.

The main design of the urban area of Lin-gang is based on the concept of one drop of water rippling out on a water surface - representing the forward-looking nature of humanity.

Photographers Zhao Lirong and Xin Yahua, from the Wenhui Daily, captured some stunning moments in the area recently. Let's take a look.
