The Marine Hi-Tech Innovation Park – located in the Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone in East China's Shanghai city – recently received an honor in recognition of its excellence.

The park was given the appellation of Shanghai Characteristic Industrial Park on April 7, by the Shanghai municipal government.

The park – with a focus on the marine industry and intelligent manufacturing – has attracted 168 companies from the intelligent marine industry, high-end equipment industry and intelligent scientific and technological industry to base themselves there.

The Marine Hi-Tech Innovation Park plans to continue to play a demonstration role and a leading role in the field of marine economy in Shanghai, as well as to help develop a marine intelligent manufacturing industry cluster with global influence.
