The China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Lin-gang Special Area Administration and Bright Food (Group) Co Ltd held a signing ceremony for their comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement on March 1.

Lin-gang Special Area will team with Bright Food Group to upgrade its urban service functions to ensure a high-quality life for residents.

Both sides will invest efforts in a variety of aspects, including commercial buildings, housing security, municipal greening, cold chain logistics, urban services, senior communities, senior care, the flower industry, horticultural trade, as well as supporting facilities for parks and communities.

They will further integrate and upgrade production factor resources, as well as introduce advanced food resources at home and abroad to build an international high-tech agricultural industry R&D cluster, as well as an important international hub and node for high-quality food supply.

Zhu Zhisong, executive deputy director of the Lin-gang Special Area Administration, said that the development and construction of Lin-gang Special Area requires not only the joint effort of various talents and market entities, but also the support from large central enterprises and State-owned enterprises.

He added that the Lin-gang Special Area Administration will fully support the development of Bright Food Group in all fields and will work together with the group to fulfill the tasks of the strategic cooperation agreement, as well as to implement the national strategy during the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period.
