CRCC Lin-gang Building starts construction
The China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) Lin-gang Building started construction in Shanghai on Nov 20.
The CRCC Lin-gang Building is located in the main area of Lin-gang and has a total building area of 157,100 square meters.
The project is the first to start construction in the headquarters bay of the 103 Science and Technology Innovation Community in Lin-gang Special Area.
The headquarters bay is mainly used for education, scientific research and design. In the future, it plans to build the 103 Science and Technology Innovation Community in partnership with the World Laureates Association Science Community, Science and Technology Innovation Community, Science and Innovation Wisdom Community, and International Innovation Collaboration Area.
The CRCC Lin-gang Building, as the second headquarters and technology and science R&D center of CRCC, will make full use of Lin-gang Special Area's policies, talent, industries, transportation and financial resources to become a center for international financial settlement, investment management, and technology innovation.
CRCC Ltd is one of the world's largest comprehensive construction groups and plays a key role in developing Lin-gang Special Area.
CRCC has already set up an investment platform and carried out a number of important tasks related to the construction of transportation infrastructure in Lin-gang.
In the future, CRCC will introduce three workstations, six research institutes, one large community and three parks, including an underground space academician expert workstation, prefabricated building industrial park and international business settlement center. The total investment is expected to exceed 180 billion yuan ($27.4 billion).
