Landscape bridges along Dishui Lake
The names of the seven landscape bridges along Dishui Lake in the Lin-gang Special Area, Shanghai were announced on Sept 19.
An event to collect names for the bridges started on Aug 12 and received many participants. A total of 465 entries were submitted from all over the country, resulting in the final evaluation of one grand prize and 10 honorable awards.
The seven bridges are located at the seven ports on Dishui Lake, namely Chifeng Port, Chenghe Port, Huangri Port, Lyuli Port, Qingxiang Port, Lanyun Port, and Zifei Port.
The aforementioned ports are all named after colors, and each bridge is named according to the corresponding color.
The names of the bridges will also be in part based on the unique design concepts and appearance of each bridge.
