A green village area will be established to the east of Hangtang Port-S3 Hufeng (Shanghai-Fengxian) Expressway, to the north of Dazhi Stream, to the west of Yanqian Highway-Qingning Road, and to the south of S3 Hufeng Expressway, and will cover 103 square kilometers.

The green village area will create two major functional zones - a comprehensive functional area for production and living, and Shenlong Ecological Park, as well as Tairi and Qianqiao communities. Among them, the comprehensive functional area for production and living will take Qingcun ancient town as its center, protect the historic features from the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, develop a tourism service industry, and improve life services. Combining beautiful landscapes, Shenlong Ecological Park will create an open and characteristic financial town with a proper layout of high-quality residential houses, provide high-quality life services, and also take the needs of Qianqiao community into account. In addition, it will collaborate with "water networks, road networks, green networks and railway networks" to improve the fabric of road networks and build an ecological transport system. It will also improve the transport network for non-motorized conveyances and strengthen connections in internal parts of the residential area, as well as those between the residential area and the industrial area. It will form an ecological pattern in which forests and waters rely on each other with Shenlong Ecological Park as the center, with a dense water network and the intersection of forests and agricultural fields around Qingcun community. In addition, it will retain original villages including the west side of Qianqiao community, the west side of Shenlong Ecological Park, the northwest, west and north side of Tairi community and the area along Dazhi Stream to protect Pujiang Zhengyi village.
