The China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Lin-gang Special Area Administration as well as institutions and administrative enforcement agencies affiliated with Nanhui New Town in Shanghai Pudong New Area  were unveiled on May 29.

The number of affiliated institutions and administrative enforcement agencies was reduced from 14 to nine, which will effectively improve the quality and performance of administrative enforcement. The government will build a higher quality and more flexible public affairs service system by optimizing functional allocation, reengineering work processes, strengthening efficiency supervision and introducing market mechanisms.

Lin-gang Special Area will establish a comprehensive law enforcement unit, which will serve as the administrative enforcement agency of Lin-gang with the Nanhui New Town in Shanghai Pudong New Area city management administrative enforcement squadron.

Centers for construction and transportation management (housing security), planning and land (land reserve), and administrative services were set up in affiliations with Lin-gang Special Area and Nanhui New Town.

The administrative service center (big data center) will focus on the reform of government affairs services in the area, the construction of an integrated information management service platform, the statistical analysis and management of big data, and improving the e-government service platform and big data application management.
