Lin-gang Special Area recently announced a three-year action plan (2020-2022) to improve comprehensive energy services in the area.

The overall goal of the plan is to diversify the energy supply and refine energy services.

In order to diversify the energy supply, Lin-gang will improve the distribution of major energy infrastructure in the energy and transportation sectors and focus on power, gas and comprehensive energy supply stations, as well as solar energy, wind energy, hydrogen energy, and more.

The area will integrate, coordinate, and share data resources related to electricity, gas, government, and society, and build an integrated energy management and control platform to refine energy services.

According to the plan, Lin-gang Special Area plans to build a "1+2+6+X" integrated energy system, which consists of one comprehensive intelligent energy management and control platform, two backbone energy networks, six energy construction targets in key regions, and X other energy segments energy construction, such as photovoltaic and wind power projects.

The power supply in the developed block of the "pioneering promoter area" of Lin-gang should be reliable more than 99.99 percent of the time.

In addition, the 110 (35) kV substations in Lin-gang will soon meet the requirements of the bilateral power supply, the interstation contact rate will reach 90 percent, the 10-kV line contact rate and the "N-1" pass rate will reach 100 percent, the cabling rate will reach 95 percent, and the reliability of the power supply will be further improved.

In addition, at least one more gas source will be added, the construction of secondary high-pressure trunk pipes will be accelerated, and a comprehensive gas supply center will be built to ensure the security of the gas supply in the pioneering promoter area.

Six integrated refueling stations will be built in Lin-gang, and demonstration projects will be developed for oil, gas, hydrogen, and electricity.

Lin-gang Special Area will develop photovoltaic and wind power projects and start developing demonstration projects for emerging energy technologies such as hydrogen energy, distributed energy, and multi-energy complementarity.
