Shanghai Xinmi Technology Co Ltd agreed to occupy a high-rise factory in the Intelligent Manufacturing Park located in Jade Park in the Lingang Industrial Area on April 24. It is the first company to locate in the factory.

The company will develop a semiconductor seals production and R&D center in the Lingang Industrial Area and will adopt a new generation of nano-polymerization technology or additive free technology to provide high-performance sealing products for customers in the semiconductor and liquid crystal display (LCD) panel industries. The products will be of use to all domestic semiconductor factories with seven-nanometer or larger processes, as well as to all LCD industry customers.

Lin-gang Special Area is striving to develop a cutting-edge industrial cluster focusing on key core technologies. It has formed a group of integrated circuit (IC) enterprises such as GTA Semiconductor, ZingSem, Galaxycore micro-electronics, North Ocean Science Technology, Atec Semiconductor, and more, resulting in the formation of an industrial cluster focusing on equipment, materials, chip design, manufacturing, packaging, and testing. Xinmi Tech's decision to set up operations in Lin-gang Special Area will further improve the area's IC industry ecosystem.

The No 13 high-rise factory building in Jade Park covers an area of more than 22,000 square meters and is six stories high. The factories are flexible and able to meet the needs of a variety of enterprises, as they are equipped with an underground parking garage, high-quality lighting, a beautiful environment, and convenient transportation infrastructure.
