Changjiu Glovis Shipping Co, funded by Beijing Changjiu Logistics Co Ltd and Beijing Glovis Warehousing & Transportation Co Ltd, recently set up operations in the Yangshan Comprehensive Bonded Zone.

Beijing Glovis Warehousing & Transportation Co Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hyundai Glovis, a unit of South Korea's Hyundai Motor Group, while Beijing Changjiu Logistics Co Ltd is a large domestic third-party automotive logistics enterprise.

The cooperation between the two sides is meant to expand their domestic and international markets.

Changjiu Glovis Shipping Co plans to provide high-quality international ro-ro vehicle transportation for domestic vehicles, second-hand vehicles, Southeast Asian vehicles, and heavy equipment manufacturing enterprises in China. The company will also seek cooperation in vehicle sea transportation to develop an international vehicle maritime transport system and get involved in international cargo transport, ship leasing, and more.
