The Lin-gang Special Area Administration, along with vice president companies of China Association of Foreign Service Trades and the president units of the Shanghai Human Resources Consulting Association, established a "Lin-gang Special Area shared employee" service platform to help spread the area's supply of human resources evenly across multiple industries.

Under the program, 11 workers from Lush-Fish, a catering enterprise located in the New World of Port City, recently participated in a training session at a warehouse belonging to ABB and located in the Lin-gang GLP International Logistics Park, thus becoming "shared employees".

Due to the epidemic, Lush-Fish is currently not allowed to resume operations, while ABB, a Top 500 company that provides a wide range of equipment and technical support related to power, utilities, and industry, has been facing a shortage of workers, as many of them are in other provinces and are having difficulty returning to Shanghai.

The Lin-gang Special Area Administration explored a variety of possible solutions to these challenges and ultimately decided to establish the "shared employee" service platform on Feb 13.

From Feb 14 to Feb 19, the Lin-gang Special Area Administration, together with the China Association of Foreign Service Trades, investigated the specific requirements, salary levels, and other information needed by the companies, evaluated job requirements, developed employment patterns and procedures for enterprises, and dealt with other issues relating to employee benefits, labor protection, and the collection of employee information.

So far, more than ten companies have made use of the "shared employee" platform.
