WLA Science Community plan published

At the opening ceremony of the second WLF held in Lin-gang Special Area, the plan of the WLA science community for the world's top scientists was released. Construction of the project will start in the second half of 2020.

The science community, which will occupy 34 hectares, is located in the Lin-gang Science and Technology Park. It not only includes a permanent meeting site, exhibition center, industrial integration base, the WLF's international joint laboratory base, but also has international high-standard support facilities, such as scientists' apartments, bilingual schools and international hospitals, to attract the world's top scientists and teams to live and work in the area.

WLA science community will be bases on the cluster effect of the WLA and basic research to build a super laboratory, and inject the original scientific and technological achievements of top scientists into the science community. At present, 40 scientists have signed a contract with the community.
