ENN Power started building micro gas turbines in its Lin-gang development base on Oct 17, which will fill the blanks in micro or small gas turbine industrialization in China.

The core components of gas turbines developed by this company are 100 percent domestic. Compared with similar products abroad, their cost performance is higher.

Lin-gang Special Area is making other efforts in "loosening bottlenecks and filling in blanks".

A complete set of intelligent manufacturing production lines for new energy vehicle electric drives was put into use in Lin-gang on Sept 26. The new energy speed transmissions produced on this line are the only ones of their kind in China.

Lin-gang Special Area Life Science and Technology Industrial Park was unveiled on Oct 18, with 15 key biomedicine projects signed.

Zhu Zhisong, the executive deputy director of Lin-gang Special Area, has said that the special area should focus on key bottleneck fields and insist on four indicators: yield per unit area, benefits, energy consumption and environmental impact.

Positioned as a special economic functional area, Lin-gang Special Area should actively meet the country's needs, consider the actual conditions in Shanghai and pursue high-quality development, striving for breakthroughs in bottleneck fields.

It is required that Lin-gang Special Area Administration should suit methods to cases, introduce specific policies in key fields and industries, and provide services that enterprises really need.
