In August alone, Jinpu welcomed 2,754 new market entities, including 1,294 enterprises and 1,460 self-employed households, according to the Jinpu New Area Market Regulation Bureau.
In the first eight months, Jinpu New Area registered over 10,000 new enterprises, fully demonstrating the dynamic vitality of Jinpu's economy.
From January to August, Jinpu New Area saw 23,047 new market entities, up 5.58 percent year-on-year. Among the newly-established entities are 10,208 enterprises and 12,839 self-employed households, up 1.69 percent and 9.05 percent year-on-year, respectively.
In the first eight months of this year, the primary industry registered 1,641 newly established market entities, marking a 54.37 percent year-on-year increase. The secondary industry saw 1,642 new market entities, while the tertiary industry added 19,764 new entities, up 1.23 percent and 3.24 percent year-on-year, respectively.
By the end of August this year, Jinpu New Area had a total of 246,151 market entities, marking a 3.58 percent year-on-year increase, accounting for 24.94 percent of Dalian's total.
