On August 13, Innoreagen's hydrogen fuel cell plant, a production demonstration project, entered into operation in Jinpu New Area.
Once fully operational, the project is expected to produce 2,000 fuel cell piles and 2,000 hydrogen fuel cell engines annually, significantly boosting the growth of Jinpu New Area's hydrogen energy industry.
As one of China's leading hydrogen energy companies, Innoreagen established Dalian Innoreagen Power Technology Co Ltd in December 2023, building an advanced research institute, a production base, and a demonstration base, while also launching various demonstration projects of hydrogen energy application.
Jinpu New Area attaches great importance to the development of the hydrogen energy industry. It currently hosts nine hydrogen energy enterprises above designated size and has nurtured four municipal-level innovation platforms. Additionally, eleven projects from ten companies have been selected for the "Dalian Hydrogen Energy Comprehensive Utilization Demonstration Project".
Hydrogen energy is being used in multiple scenarios in Jinpu, including hydrogen-powered buses. Jinpu has established a comprehensive hydrogen energy industrial chain, encompassing hydrogen production, storage, transportation, refueling, usage, and research.
