The number of business entities in Jinpu New Area has maintained a steady increase since the beginning of the year, according to statistics from the Market Supervision Bureau of Jinpu New Area.
In March alone, Jinpu New Area saw the registration of 3,171 new business entities, up 8.11 percent year-on-year. Throughout the first quarter, a total of 6,652 new business entities were established in Jinpu New Area, a figure on par with the previous year's.
In breakdown, the growth rate of the first industry was remarkable in March, with a year-on-year increase of 91.3 percent. Meanwhile, the third industry achieved a growth rate of 8.22 percent over the same period. It is worth mentioning that in Q1 this year, the first industry also demonstrated strong growth momentum, with a year-on-year increase of 73.94 percent.
As of March this year, there are 244,208 registered business entities in Jinpu New Area, marking a year-on-year growth rate of 5.4 percent and accounting for 25.15 percent of Dalian city's total.
Among them, there are 138,219 self-employed individuals, up 5.79 percent year-on-year, constituting 23.25 percent of Dalian's total. Additionally, there are 105,299 registered enterprises, up 4.86 percent year-on-year, accounting for 28.38 percent of Dalian's total.
