Contract investment hits nearly 11 billion yuan in Q1

Jinpu New Area signed contracts for a total of 48 projects in the first quarter, with a total investment of nearly 11 billion yuan; and 15 projects were implemented, with a total investment of 3.4 billion yuan.

Recently, Jinpu New Area held a collective ceremony of contract signing for some of these projects. Among them, five are foreign-funded projects and 23 domestic projects, covering multiple industrial sectors including high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials and clean energy. Total investment of the 28 projects added up to 8.19 billion yuan ($1.13 billion).

The implementation of these projects will undoubtedly accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system in Jinpu New Area, laying a solid foundation for Jinpu's high-quality economic and social development.

In terms of all project construction across the new area, 310 projects including SKF Phase IV and Chery Automobile Industrial Park, have resumed construction, and 60 new projects have commenced construction, such as the Maritime Era Marine Cultural Tourism City.

Notably, the official commencement of construction of the Graphene Valley project and the entry into operation of the Liebherr wind turbine bearing project have garnered widespread attention, drawing investments of 6.16 billion yuan and 110 million euros, respectively.

April is the "golden period" for project construction, and Jinpu New Area will implement the "Action Plan for Improving the Business Environment Quality in Jinpu New Area in 2024" to create a transparent and predictable institutional environment, provide equal service, and enhance work efficiency. Ongoing enhancements to the business environment aim to bolster confidence among enterprises investing in Jinpu.
