Good news from the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2024, the "Winter Davos" in Switzerland. A traditional Chinese cuisine "Buddha Jumps Over the Wall" (Fo Tiao Qiang) made by Dalian Kowa Foods Co Ltd, an enterprise from the Jinpu New Area, stole the spotlight and received widespread acclaim at the annual gathering.
The traditional food is made of 18 pricey ingredients, including shark, abalone, sea cucumber, ginseng and scallops.
The World Economic Forum is the world's top economic event. The theme of this year's World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting was rebuilding trust, bringing together over 2,800 leaders from various fields from 120 countries.
The Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as the "Summer Davos", has been held in Dalian seven times, with the city set to host the Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2024. A delegation from Dalian took part in this year's "Winter Davos" and hosted the Dalian Night Reception, inviting more than 600 Chinese and foreign dignitaries, World Economic Forum officials, and well-known Chinese and foreign entrepreneurs to attend.
