Jinpu New Area recently laid foundation for a new R&D and production base of flexible PCB (printed circuit board) with a total investment of 200 million yuan ($29.6 million). The base will be located in Puwan Economic Zone, aiming to produce highly-precise FPCB.
Flexible PCB, known as "the mother of electronic products", is used to connect electronic parts and transmit electronic product signal. The project is invested by Dalian Jixing Electronics Co Ltd, the only high-tech enterprise in Northeast China that produces flexible PCB.
Upon completion, the project will achieve an estimated annual output value of 500 million yuan. The annual production is expected to reach 150,000 square meters.
