Jinpu New Area hosted the Dalian sub-forum of the world-famous "Symposium Bochum 2022" through online streaming, in a bid to promote comprehensive and deep-level cooperation in the automotive industry between Dalian and Germany.
The Symposium Bochum, a top German professional forum in that industry, has been held for 20 years. The Dalian sub-forum in 2022 was co-organized by the German Center for Automotive Research (CAR), the Chinese Investment Promotion Bureau of Commerce and the Dalian Municipal Government. Through online streaming, the sub-forum hosted around 1200 representatives from more than 200 German and internationally renowned automotive enterprises and related industries attending the conference.
Dalian will further deepen cooperation with German auto enterprises in the fields of automotive equipment manufacturing, new energy vehicle technology innovation, and intelligent vehicle innovation, which involve automobile molds, hydrogen fuel cells, battery energy storage technology, in-vehicle induction equipment, intelligent vehicle connection, and unmanned driving.
A total of 188 Germany enterprises including the Linde Group, Schuler and Siemens have settled in Dalian, with an investment amount of nearly $1.8 billion, and have achieved good development performance.
