This year marks the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, and an Ikebana (the Japanese art of flower arrangement) exhibition was held at the Dalian Shanshang Art Museum on May 27th. The Chief Representative of the Consular Office of Japan in Dalian, members of the Japanese chamber of commerce and industry in Dalian, officials of the Dalian branch of Japanese local government offices and representatives from related cultural organizations and media attended the event.
Chuxin Maizi, the leader of the Xiaoyuanliu Dalian Huaihua Study Group, accompanied the Chief Representative on his visit to the showroom, and introduced the Ikebana exhibition and its preparation process to all the guests. Each work vividly presented the attainments and ingenuity of its creator.
