On March 22, Dalian Port’s automobile terminal in the Jinpu New Area unloaded 720 Japanese commercial vehicles, setting a record high for a single container ship since the launch of its transport channel for the Japanese commercial vehicles.
In January 2021, Liaoning Port Group successfully opened the country's first multimodal transport channel for commercial vehicles from East Asia to Central Asia, and the Japanese commercial vehicles transport project was officially launched. The annual transshipment volume in 2021 exceeded 4,000 vehicles.
As one of the four major commercial vehicle transshipment ports in China, Liaoning Port Group is leading the country in the sea-rail combined transportation business. Next, it will actively innovate by combining roro and train, further expand business, and unblock the international and domestic sea-rail combined transportation channels.
