The Port Office of the Dalian Municipal Government recently issued an Implementation Plan for Accelerating the High-quality Development of Dalian Airport, in which "supporting e-commerce to develop express and cross-border business and establishing a cross-border e-commerce and express transit center in Northeast China" was included.
Since the beginning of the year, the Municipal Postal Administration has guided the postal and express delivery industry in actively coordinating the enterprises headquarters to invest and build an express logistics park in Dalian, and continuously expanded the cross-border delivery business, taking advantage of Dalian International Airport and aiming to construct an express demonstration city in China.
On the one hand, it will make good use of the special funds for developing the express delivery industry, providing support for enterprises’ building integrated warehouse and distribution base, building and transforming infrastructure such as express delivery parks and distribution centers, and promoting cross-border e-commerce and international trade development in Dalian.
On the other hand, the Municipal Postal Administration will participate in bidding for a free trade port and the pilot work of comprehensively deepening the innovative development of service trade, and sign a strategic cooperation agreement with the Dalian Area of the China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone to jointly promote cross-border logistics business.
At present, Suning.com Headquarters has completed the construction of an e-commerce industrial park on Qidingshan Street, Jinpu New Area. China Post Group Corporation and Deppon Express have decided to build an express industrial park in Sanshilipu area, Jinpu New Area. The "Asia No.1" project of Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com and the Fengtai Express Industrial Park project of SF Express are in preparation for construction.
