Hungarian-Chinese bilingual school students visit Nantong schools

Nineteen students and teachers from the Hungarian-Chinese bilingual school in Budapest, capital of Hungary, visited Nantong Middle School and Nantong University in Jiangsu province on Oct 28, deepening educational exchanges between China and Hungary.

The bilingual school and Nantong Middle School established a friendly relationship in November 2019. During their visit, the Hungarian students participated in a Chinese flag-raising ceremony honoring the friendship between the two nations.

On their inaugural visit to Nantong University, Hungarian students and teachers explored the campus and experienced Chinese culture through activities like paper tearing, an intriguing intangible cultural heritage item. Erika Meszaros, vice principal of the Hungarian-Chinese bilingual school, highlighted the students' enthusiasm for learning the Chinese language and their interest in Chinese culture.

Since its establishment in 2004, the Hungarian-Chinese bilingual school has aimed to enhance cultural and educational ties between the two countries through such exchanges, fostering lasting cooperation and friendship.
