Suzhou Tourism and Finance Institute forges international collaborations with France and Italy

From Sept 29 to Oct 5, a delegation led by Liu Hong, president of the Suzhou Tourism and Finance Institute, visited France and Italy to sign agreements and strengthen international educational cooperation.
During their visit to France, the delegation met with officials from the ESCE International Business School in Paris. They explored topics such as business education frameworks, school-industry partnerships, and the establishment of a Confucius Institute. The team also visited Vatel Hotel and Tourism Business School, where they discussed the potential for student and faculty exchanges, credit recognition, and academic advancement between the two schools.

In Italy, the delegation signed a formal cooperation agreement with Loreto Tourism School, opening a new chapter for future collaborations. Additionally, the team engaged in educational exchanges with Macerata Agricultural School, Cingoli Tourism School, and the University of Macerata. At the Agricultural School, students and faculty showcased their herb garden and winemaking techniques, while at Cingoli, the focus was on training talent for the local tourism industry.
The visit to the University of Macerata also provided valuable insights into the school's programs in international tourism, destination management, and finance, creating new opportunities for Suzhou graduates to pursue further studies in Italy.
