On Sept 24, international students in Taizhou were invited to visit the construction site of the Taizhou South Station on the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway. The visit provided a firsthand look at China's advanced railway construction technology and the impressive progress the project has made.
Led by staff, the students toured the station's expansive square and impressive modern station currently under construction. They learned about the station's design, scale, and the convenience it will offer. The students were fascinated, frequently expressing their admiration.
At the construction site, students observed key structural elements like the piers and columns for the high-speed rail bridge. The project manager explained the complex technical challenges, construction processes, and quality control measures involved in building the station.
Students were impressed by the intricate details and rigorous standards of China's high-speed rail projects. They praised the expertise and dedication of the Chinese engineers and workers, marveling at the country's advanced technological capabilities.
