Jiangsu Ocean University hosts international food carnival

Jiangsu Ocean University's School of Foreign Languages recently hosted a vibrant food carnival, bringing together over 50 students from 13 countries.
Before the event, international students visited local supermarkets to purchase ingredients, preparing for a showcase of their native cuisines. They then cooked a variety of traditional dishes, and shared their recipes and the cultural stories behind them.

The festival featured an array of unique dishes, including Chinese dumplings and ramen, Kazakh pilaf, Malaysian pastries, and Indonesian corn cakes.
This event was not only a culinary delight but also a celebration of diverse cultures, highlighting the rich traditions and stories that each dish represents.
