Ten international students from countries including India and Namibia, studying at Nantong University's School of International Education, participated in a volunteer activity at Qixiu community of Xinchengqiao sub-district, Chongchuan district, Nantong on March 1.

They conducted free medical consultations for food delivery workers, sanitation workers, and other groups, measuring blood pressure and heart rate.

Established in 2012, the volunteer team from the School of International Education has provided free services such as medical consultations, teaching, and environmental conservation for thousands of people in Nantong.

This year, the volunteer team will collaborate with its counterpart in Xinchengqiao sub-district in organizing activities related to education, culture promotion, environmental protection, and traffic management.

In recent years, Nantong University has focused on giving its 1,000-plus international students from 59 countries opportunities to further develop their moral values.
