During the New Year holiday, international students in Jiangsu celebrated the festival through a variety of engaging activities.
For example, 20 international students from countries including Morocco, Bangladesh, and Kazakhstan gathered at the library of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications Xianlin campus to try their hand at woodblock printing, creating imprints of the character "福" (meaning good fortune).

In Nantong, a cultural exchange event centered on tea took place at the Shibei Culture and Sports Center. The event featured a tea ceremony where performers poured tea out of a long spout teapot – a local intangible cultural heritage project in the city's Chongchuan district. More than 30 international students from countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, including Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, attended the event.
Suqian University hosted a New Year's Eve gala for international students from 12 different countries. Over a hundred students gathered to showcase a diverse array of performances, including sheng (Chinese wind instrument) solos, skits, and songs, creating a lively and culturally rich atmosphere.
These celebrations fostered a sense of community among international students in Jiangsu and provided an opportunity for cultural exchange.
