To celebrate the National Constitution Day, judges from Huaian, Jiangsu province visited a local primary school on Dec 3 to enhance the students' understanding of the Constitution.
The judges, who were from the People's Court at the Economic and Technological Development Zone in Huaian, put forward several case studies and explained to local primary school students the status of the Constitution, how to abide by the law, and how to uphold the authority of the Constitution.
This year's National Constitution Day was themed on promoting the spirit of the Constitution and modernizing the country's governance system and capacity.
The Chinese government in 2014 designated Dec 4 as National Constitution Day, encouraging all Chinese to observe this important document by attending various lectures and events, and hopefully lifting people's comprehension of it to a new height in the process.
