Members of the "Little Red Flower" student troupe from Nanjing, Jiangsu province pose for a group photo at the Chinese Embassy in Cyprus on Oct 18. The pupils staged a folk dance featuring the Miao ethnic group, who are mostly inhabiting in Guizhou, Yunnan, Sichuan and Guandong provinces, as well as another dance which depicted Dunhuang cultural elements, a county-level city in Northwest China's Gansu province which is widely known for the nearby Mogao Grottoes, one of the most famous ancient Buddhist sculptural sites in China. Their dances, which won laud and praise from the Cypriot audiences, were part of the 3rd China Festival in Cyprus to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
